SHOW NOTES: Friday, December 4, 2020
Well, today was a disaster before it even started. I had the show structure built, the video feed ready, slides for every story, and my formerly trusty MacBook Pro rebooted right before time to go live. That torpedoed everything, and there was no time to get it all up and running again, and no guarantee that there wouldn’t be another reboot, so I made the call to bail on today’s podcast.
BUT – today’s show notes are here anyway! You get the stories even though there was no podcast.
Also – I did some work on the laptop and learned that it’s battery was is VERY poor condition. It was swollen and pushing up on the trackpad and was generally scary looking. That may have been causing the problems. So I’ve removed it and ordered a replacement, and the computer is up and running again right now on just the power adapter. We’ll see how it behaves over the weekend, and hopefully be able to use it Monday.
