On today’s Daily Perspective Podcast I shared a story about Dan Cathy’s response to criticism of the company dropping their charitable support of The Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Cathy’s response still didn’t explain why the decision was made, it merely claimed the company was still supporting Christian charities and were focusing their giving in a different way. I still want to know why. Why? In the big picture the amounts donated to these two causes was smaller than what is donated to other, non-Christian, charities. Why cut them off?
