Leftists enjoy playing the role of accepting, tolerant people who embrace others. In reality however, leftists are breathtakingly intolerant of dissenting views. As William F. Buckley once said, “Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.”
Not only are those on the progressive left intolerant of the views of others, they punish those who hold dissenting views. The linked article by Robert Spencer from PJ Media shares examples of how the left has sought out people with dissenting views and punished them.
